Sunny Days

Well, this travelin’ fool is travelin’ yet again, tomorrow.  ShaNaNa and I are taking our “Girls Getaway” to sunny Florida, and I’ve already checked the weather for the next few days there.  I’m happy to report that the forecast is calling for 87 and sunny.  W to the OOT!!  Now I can get that tan that blondes get – you know, the light brown that simply makes me look like the color of everyone else on their normal non-tan days. 

ShaNaNa informed me this morning she’s pretty much already packed.  In our true-to-form opposite nature, I haven’t even pulled my suitcase up from the basement.  I am the last minute packer, always have been.  For some reason, packing early?  Makes me anxious, very jumpy.  I’m also the weird one in that I hate having people drop me off at the airport.  I want to drive myself, park myself, and do it in my own time frame.  It’s a MUST.  Otherwise I’m completely annoyed.  So, I’ve already informed ShaNaNa we are driving and parking at the airport – she said someone could drop us off and I practically yelled, “NO!”  Thankfully she knows me and loves me already.  Heh.

Today I let Emilee wear her leather boots to school.  OMG she looked so cute – they are zip up, black leather boots.  Of course I had to buy them, and my girl was excited – and to complete our look for the day, her black leather jacket.  Fashion Diva at five, I LOVE IT!

I drank too much Friday evening.  Way too much.  And I’m ashamed to say … I drank so much that of course, smoking was a grand idea. GRAND.  Until I had that smokie treat … and it messed my world up even more.  And then?  Then, well, this QTMama was hugging the toilet for about 10 minutes.

At least I woke up Saturday morning with a nice, flat tummy.
